Nara once was the capital city of Japan. A city full of myths and magical stories. It is the city where deers are as accepted in society as humans, maybe even more respected. They are seen as the protectors of the city and country and are regarded as heavenly animals. The vending machines around the cities even stock snacks for the deers so you can feed them. The deer is my spirit animal, they are such beautiful, majestic creatures. So there is no wonder why I long to visit Nara.
